Fighting Success: Fighting Distance and Developing your Fight Strategy

The biggest determining factor in a close fight is space or distance between you and your opponent or opponents. There are basically three fighting distances, Long Range, Mid Range, and Close Range. Our training should provide us the opportunity to adequately train in all three ranges.

News: Aikido of Santa Barbara Helps Injured Exchange Student

A 21-year-old Hong Kong exchange student has found out who is friends are in the aftermath of a brutal assault during a robbery on Santa Barbara’s Westside last month. After reading Noozhawk’s report of the attack, members of Aikido of Santa Barbara got together and have raised $1,460 to help pay for the victim’s medical bills.
