My first purple belt fight in the European BJJ Championship Open 2008. I am the second fight on Geeza’s video. Not making excuses for myself, but Geeza is a great fighter as you will note in the video. I actually felt I fought pretty good, the video is Geeza’s so he edited out the parts were I did okay. But score didn’t lie, he beat me 10-0! Great fighter, he is now a brown belt.
Another fight, an old one about 4 years ago I believe when I was a new blue belt. The title is a little off, I only outweighed Pablo by about 100lbs! LOL. Pablo is a good fighter, he was a purple then. This was not BJJ rules, but no points, no time limit, open submission. It was one of my favorite all time fights!
